About this Course

The Arthritis Foundation states that osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common chronic disease of the joints. It is sometimes called degenerative joint disease or “wear and tear” arthritis. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that osteoarthritis affects over one-third of the senior population. This presentation will give an overview of this form of arthritis to include the medications used to manage this chronic disease.
