About this Course

The City of Mission Viejo’s Junior Lifeguard Course is a non-certification course that will build a foundation of knowledge and skills for future lifeguard employment. We will focus on learning water safety, drowning prevention, and skills for helping others in the water. This class will be split into two levels based on experience. On the final day, there will be a graduation from 3:30-5:00 pm. A certified lifeguard and an instructor will oversee the course and provide leadership and instruction. *Participants must be 11 to 14 years of age.
