The Konrad Reuland Charity Pickleball Tournament honors the life of Konrad Reuland, a local Mission Viejo NFL athlete who died unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm. The event raises awareness for organ donation and provides funds to local charities through Big Brothers, Big Sisters Orange County, Spirit League (adapted sports programs offered in Mission Viejo), and supports the cities free Wheelchair tennis clinics. All divisions will feature a Round-Robin style tournament with a 3 game guarantee. Medals will be awarded to 1st / 2nd / 3rd place winners. First Place finishers in each division will receive a 3 month complementary membership to the host location. 2nd place finishers will receive a 1 month complementary membership to the host location. All medal matches will have USAPA refs to conduct and officiate. Scores are reported to DUPR. Please note registration is BY TEAM!! This is a NON-REFUNDABLE Charity Event. Players can make substitutions to their teams all the way up until the start of the event to accommodate for injuries or schedule conflicts, but refunds will not be processed. This event is RAIN OR SHINE. Every effort will be made to delay matches and play the tournament out over the two day weekend. Additional Rain make-up dates are not guaranteed.
